Frequently Asked Questions

What is Halotherapy

Halotherapy, also known as dry Salt Therapy is a holistic approach that mimics the microclimate of a salt cave. Dry salt air is dispersed into an enclosed environment (room, bed, booth, cabin) through a unique process generated by a halogenerator. When you heat salt, it becomes super dry, and kinetically more active. This heated and dry pure sodium chloride is then crushed into micro-sized particles and dispersed into the air in an enclosed environment.

Halotherapy offers the best results when practiced regularly. The benefits are cumulative so consistency and frequency are the key. The frequency will depend upon your own individual health and wellness goals. I recommend at least 2-3 times a week. For more aggressive results, 4-5 times per week is recommended. I also suggest visiting the sauna immediately following your workout to see the best weight loss and recovery results.

Yes, the sauna will comfortably accommodate you and a friend or loved one. I charge $15 extra to bring a friend or family member into the sauna with you.

What if I don't sweat alot?

Everyone sweats at different levels. It may take a few sessions for your pores to open and allow the body to sweat as much. However, the more water you drink before, during, and after your session the better hydrated you are and the more you’ll sweat.

Its recommend that you try not to eat for 60 minutes prior to your session, but you are encouraged to drink water before, during, and after your sauna session.
